Windows 10 has DirectX 12, 11, 10, 9 and all previous versions of DirectX ever existed. However, reinstall DirectX is still possible for DirectX 11 and older. In short, you can’t uninstall DirectX 12 in Windows 10. As DirectX 12 is backward compatible with virtually every GPU and software, it won’t make sense wanting to downgrade or remove DirectX 12 from Windows 10. That said, uninstalling DirectX 12 is not possible as it’s one of the core components in Windows 10 that cannot be uninstalled.
